The Basics:
The idea for this website came from another one of mine, www.jimlayman.com. I wanted to let people know where to go to actually see what I captured in a camera. I started thinking I could include information on this and then one thing led to another and here we are.
My goal was to provide photographs of places you can see from, or near, your automobile. Perhaps you are just traveling in the area and want something to see… Or not as mobile as you used to be, not comfortable hiking into a mountain lake, can not because of kids, perhaps you just want to take it in and enjoy your air conditioning. Whatever your reason, I hope you can find a new place to experience because of the photographs here.
I have tried to include all of the information you need to find the locations and scenes you see here. Typically I include road or highway names or numbers with mileposts where possible. When I can not do it, I try to include other information that will help you figure out where I was. Good luck on your journey(s).

This link, to a site that has bad email addresses, will cause a high numbers of email address harvested on a trip to this website and those that it links to. The high rate of bad addresses will discourage use of the addresses collected on that trip. Basically, it is a way for me to avoid email spam.
