		<description><![CDATA[I think that these animals are Desert Mountain Sheep.  There are photographs of some at the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center and these look like the animals in the photographs.  If these are not Desert Mountain Sheep, please let me know and I will update the information on this page.

<p>We saw them crossing the Hwy-140 East of Lakeview in Central Oregon.  They traveled in a small herd of about eight animals.</p>
